Meet Your Host

Dr. Martin Bales grew up working alongside his father, Maurice Bales, a designer and manufacturer of medical devices who was awarded 5 grants from NASA to develop materials for the space shuttle. NASA was so impressed with Maurice’s work they encouraged him to offer his mass spectrometer technology commercially which he did. Maurice then developed the first digital Infrared Camera in 1979 and the first Photonic Stimulator in 1998. While these devices have evolved and become much more powerful, they are same tools transforming Dr. Bales’s practice today.

Dr. Bales has bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters in Oriental Medicine, a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University, and also attended Zhe Jiang University in Hang Zhou, China. Dr. Bales became a full-time practitioner at Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy’s Center for New Medicine and Cancer Center for Healing in January 2010 and has performed well over 20,000 patient visits to date.

Dr. Bales has made multiple appearances in Ty Bolinger’s The Truth about Cancer, Lee Benton’s Victory Road, and more recently Nathan Crane’s Global Cancer Summit. He participates in the Center for New Medicine’s Facebook live health discussions and is an ongoing guest in the Cancer Center’s weekly Cancer Class.
