Q. Why is the “Scan with DIRP” Button Greyed Out/Not Available in the FScan Software?

 

A. Always check that all cord connections are set up properly and the FScan is on before the FScan Software was opened. If the Software was opened before the FScan was powered up, simply close the FScan Software and reload it. The second most likely reason for the Scan with DIRP button being greyed out is that the Firefly computer needs to perform a Windows Update. To perform this update please go to the network settings of the Firefly computer and disconnect the router from the Firefly machine and connect to your home WiFi network, then go to Settings on the computer and perform a Windows Update under the System tab.
