Q. Is there a minimum age requirement for the treatment? A mother has reached out in regards to the firefly treatment for her 4 year old son. The Drs want to remove his adenoids via surgery but she is hesitant and is wondering if there would be a protocol for this. Is there anything you suggest? He has been on nasal sprays but it does not seem to be helping his case.

A. I administered sessions on children down to 3 years old when I was at the Center.  I was mainly performing gut ablations so it really came down to if the child was able to undergo an Fscan (sit still enough to get a good reading).  You could try shining the light directly in his mouth for 2-3 mins with all 3 lights for a couple of sessions.
